Connecting to 6Sense

Integrating Qualified with 6sense allows you to leverage powerful firmographic and account-intent data directly on your website. By using 6sense’s industry-leading reverse IP lookup, you can instantly identify anonymous visitors, see which 6sense segments they belong to, and arm your sales team with the rich account intelligence they need to have smarter, more personalized conversations.

This guide will walk you through the connection and configuration process.

Prerequisites: Generate Your 6sense API Token

Before connecting in Qualified, you must first generate an API token in your 6sense account. Please ensure you have the necessary permissions to perform these actions.

1. To generate your token, please follow the official 6sense documentation: Get Your API Token.
2. While following their guide, ensure you complete these steps required for the Qualified integration:
   • When prompted, select Qualified from the Integrations dropdown menu.
   • After generating the token, copy the API Token to your clipboard.
   • Before leaving the page, enable the Segments toggle and select the option "Segment ID + Name." This is crucial for pulling segment data into Qualified.

Step 1: Connect Your 6sense Account

With your API token copied from 6sense, you can now establish the connection in Qualified.

1. In Qualified, navigate to Settings → Integrations → 6sense → Connection.

2. Click Connect to 6sense.

3. Paste the 6sense API token you copied in the previous step.

4. Click Connect.

Step 2: Configure Your Integration Settings

After connecting your account, you can fine-tune the integration with these settings.

Set Your Confidence Level

This setting determines how strictly 6sense matches an IP address to a company, allowing you to balance the volume of matches with the accuracy of the data. We strongly recommend starting with Very High to ensure you are engaging with the highest quality, most accurate matches.

Please provide the correct Confidence Level definitions for 6sense. The table below is a placeholder based on similar integrations.

Refreshing Your Connection After Plan Changes

It's important to keep your connection in sync with your 6sense plan. If you ever update your plan to include additional data (like Buying Intent or Intent Score), you must refresh the connection in Qualified.

To do this, simply return to the 6sense connection page in Qualified and click the Refresh button to pull in your new capabilities.
