Big news for teams running voice and video conversations on their website: you can now give Piper the AI SDR Agent a custom voice, trained from real recordings, right inside Agent Studio.
Custom voices are the audio side of custom personas. A persona gives your AI SDR agent a face that matches your brand, and a custom voice gives visitors a voice you chose to go with it.
Setup takes two recordings from the person whose voice you're using: a short consent recording and a voice sample of about 30 seconds. Once the voice finishes processing, it shows up in the voice dropdown in your agent profile, ready to assign.
One tip before you hit record: the voice copies the tone, pace and accent of your sample exactly, and it can't be edited afterward. Find a quiet room, keep the mic 7 to 8 inches away, and upload your best take.
Custom voices are available now for every customer using voice or video conversations.
